The first version of the Club Forum will be ready soon, hopefully by the upcoming Meeting.

It will feature

• Integration with the website itself
  
• Forum sections (General, Events, Group Buy, Member Only, etc)
  
• Guest viewable (dependent on the forum section).
  
• Latest Posts section on the club homepage (think "Latest News")
• Integration into the Calendar/Events/Treks system (auto create forum topic, etc)
• A new/better text editor (for all other sections of the site too..ie create event, message, etc)
• Everyone's "favorite" smiley icons as well
  

Future potential features

• Maybe allow Guest create Topic/Posts ability (and the headaches with that). 
• Insert Club Photo Albums and Videos from a simple icon in the Text Editor
• other?
  

As always, enhancements will be based on your feedback!

*There will also be site-wide enhancements to the Event section, adopt a trail, about us, homepage, etc.

A new feature for the Calendar of Events section:  Trail Heads Map!

You can see it from the Calendar page, the Site Map, or this direct link: http://www.cv4w.org/events/trailheads

It maps out the trail heads of every event (that has the required information).  You can see all events (past and present), or just upcoming events. 

Clicking on the Map "Pin" will display the title of the Event (which is clickable to go direct to its details page) as well as the month/year of that event.
