Clarks Summit to Snow Summit Ski Resort. San Bernardino National Forest. California. August 28, 2011. Forest Road 1N54. Skyline Drive. 4x4. offroad trails. suv. trail rated easy to moderate. We start at Hatchery Road off Highway 38 to Sand Canyon Road to Skyline Drive to Radford Truck Trail and Converse Cutoff to Clarks Grade and Clarks Summit. We pass views of San Gorgonio Mountain. We connect up with Skyline Drive again and head over to Snow Summit. We park the rig and hike to the chairlifts and views of Big Bear Lake. If you plan on stopping along the trail, pick up an Adventure Pass at the Discovery Center or many other locations in Big Bear. Just another beautiful day in the forest and Big Bear California.
